The most common problem (in Scandinavia that is) with the CCC is that the DVD drive reading unit starts to misfire, that reader problem makes the entire system unable to start - this can happen with age, or a scratchy DVD - regardless, IF you manage to get your NAV DVD out by resetting it (with the volume, and both eject buttons pressed at the same time for a few seconds), try leaving it out - if your system stays ok, get your BMW dealer to exchange the DVD reading unit inside the drive and all is well.
